COST OF LIVING BONUS
FURTHER APPLICATIONS TO BE MADE. ' Br T»l»Br«,Dh—Preßi AeimciJt.inn. ._ Christchurch, October 15. It in practically certain that all the Canterbury trades unions will apply for the Arbitration Court's next bonus when the Court sits in. Cliristchurch on October 2fi. It was ifccided to-day at an emergency meeting of union secretaries that ireneral meetings of all unions should be held on Monday evening'next for the purpose "of dealing with: resolutions authorising application to the Court for tho next bonus. Whatever the latter may be, this hurried action has teen taken because notice of''the Courts next Christchurch sitting is short, and no applications may 'be filed later than Tuesday next if they are to be heard this sitting.
