The New Zealand -Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Oo„ Ltd., report having held a most Buccesßful clearing sale at Oliff Eoad, Marton, on account of Mr. Henry Death. There was an exceptionally large attendance of farmers and others interested, and every lot submitted elicited !teen competition. The special featuro of the sale -wan the horses, which were a, splendid stamp, and came forward straight out of linrd work. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their-weekly stork sale In tho Columba. Road yards, irasterton, on Wednesday, when they submitted a good yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance of buyers.
