RUGBY
Tbe Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union met last night. Mr. G. Slade presided. Mr. J. T. M. Piki forwarded his resignation as a member of tlio committal} on account of being transferred to NapfCr. His resignation was received with regret. Mr. T. 11, Jones,; manager of thb team that visited New South Wales, reported that the tour cost ,£598 135., which amount was paid by the New South Wales Union. In respect to the matches played at Auckland, Palinerston North, and Wellington, ttte New Zealand Union's receipts wero just sufficient to cover expenses, while the Auckland Union received JE9O, Manawatu ;CG7, and Wellington .£75. Tho Canterbury Union advised that it had unanimously decided that for interelub and interprovincial matches for tho 1921 season it would support tho proposed nni?ndments as drawn up by the meeting of chairmen and representatives of unions held in Wellington recently, with tho recommendation that a goal from a mark count 2 points and a potted goal 3 points.
