Sir—The work in connection with the widening and improving tho Wilton Ik-ad from the Northland-Karon portion of the city is one which deserves the urgent attention of His Worship tho Mayor and city councillors. A 6 tho summer is fast Approaching, Iho traffic along (his road will 1m increasing every day. Many parents with their children find it a pleasant walk along this road to the famous '.'Wilton's Bush," but the great amount of motor traffic has made it dangerous, inasmuch as the road, being so narrow in parts, there is little or no room for women «ml children to' move out of the wuv of the motor-traffic. It is hoped the council may.be prevailed upon to take this matter in hand, so as to minimis-i the danger of accidents. Wilton Hond. being so largely used M picnickers, etc., should be. made one. or the most attractive walks in Wellington. I am, etc 1 _ M- B '
