Mr. James Barry, of Kanturk, Co. Cork, died Inst August in his 112tli year. For more than 50 years bo had been a teetotaller, hut was a warm dovotee of tea, and an inveterate smoker to tho day of his death. He was a light cater and abstemious as rejartfs' meat. Ho took eggs, milk, and bread and butter in moderation. His intellect was unimpaired to the end, and his memory was excellent.
