Medium and coarse grades were nearly all withdrawn, I'ino siipes and scoured wools were in good request, and thero was no serious decline in their values, but medium and coarse were largely withdrawn. The first wool sale held since 191G was practically lifeless, although a record, was established by one lot of greasy •wool, which sold at 39Jd. a pounl, the highest price ever given at auction in.
