BOYS' LEAGUE. w At the Annual meeting W ' thf? Boys' Cricket League the report-showed that no fewer than 39 teams played under its auspices last season. Two boys scored over 1000 runs—S. Dempster and J. Burke— their averages being 98 and 79, respectively; whilst W. Douglas and A.'Rogers took over 100 wickets, the former 116 and the latter 110. Appreciation was expressed at the interest and help of the Wellington Cricket Association. Two senior and two junior representative mutches were played against Christchurch, the Wellington boys being victorious in tlirei> games, the fourth being a draw. •A ipotion of sympathy with Mrs. Frost in" her recent bereavement was carried. Tho following committed was elected:— Messrs. G. Bell. A. Bell, H. O'Driscoll, h, F. Thorpe, W. Faber; hon. secretary, Mr. E. Ryan. Clu'bs desiring to ienter the league lor tho present season are requested to apply immediately.
