MIDNIGHT BURGLARY
JEWELLER'S SHOP ENTERED. > By Te.'feraob—Pre?* Asnooinlion Dunedin, October 3. About midnight on Saturday, a plate glass window in Mr. .T. E. Thomson's jewellery shop, George Street, was broken and rlnge valued at .£75 were stolen. Tho thief must' have been disturbed, as diamond rings and valuable watches to Ihe value of .£250 vrero within reach, but left untouched. An empty bottle was found alongside the window with distinct finger-prints upon it, and these have beon preserved.
