Hunt, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court. yesterday, Henry Anderson and William Henry Weight irere .charged ivith failing to notify the police that they 'had possession of a revolver. : Weight stated frankly that he purchas--6d the revolver from Anderson as the 'latter, said he was "hard up." Anderwn's plea, was that he bought the rp'.volyer from an unknown vratorsider. ' Tho Magistrate asked if the revolver 'TOS.new, and Anderson said it was. "Then," remarked tho Magistrate, "yqu knew it was probably stolen when you bought it.". " ' ; • Anderson was convicted'and fined ao, in default one month's imprisonment, and "Weight, in view of the fact that he had given tl®'police every assistance, ana that ho was quite frank about hie■ connection with the affair, was convicted and ordered to'pay costs. _ The revolver remains in the possession ol the police..
