ANOTHER CHANGE IN THE P. AND T. SERVICE. An intention by tho 'Government to place the Post and Telegraph service again under tho control of tho Public Service Commissioners was suggested in a question which Mr. 11. Atmoro (Nelson) nut to tlie Postmaster-General in tho House yesterday afternoon. Mr. .Atmoro asked if the "Government was preparing an amendment to the law to eflflot this, and quoted a resolution passed -by tliio conference of Post and Telegraph office™ held last June, indicating that the members of the association did no: wish to be placed entirely nnder commissioner control. Mr, Coates replied that he was not prepared to make a statement on the point at. the present time, but would do to within a four days. The question was whothor it was intended to bring the T. and T. eervico under tho control of the commissioners. Somo action was contemplated, but it waa not ex&otly in ' the diiootion Btiggsstod.
