Present indications are for moderate to atrone west to south-west winds north- . wards of New Plymouth and Cnstlepoint and southerlies, Eaually at times, elsewhere. Cold, changeable, and cloudy weather is probable Generally, and heavy showers in the East Ooast districts. Barometer xißsf slowly everywhere. The weather has been unsettled, with rain in many parts of the country. Strong and squally north-west to south-west windß have ruled, and atmosnhcric pressure has increased considerably in the couth.
