g BANK OFFICERS AT PLAY. , Not since 1913 have Iho bank officers of Wellington had a genuine game of football. During tho war one or two scratch games were played, and this year the bankers have resumed their annual Rugby fixture. Yesterday nurning, on the Athletic Park, a' team from tho Bank otf New Zealand played a. team selected froni the other banks, and a strenuous game;' was the result. Tho Bank of Hew Zealand team won by 8 points-to 3- For the winners D. Morris secured a. try which'J. Fuller converted, rad the latter alio kicked a penalty- goal, lor the losing team W. B. Turvey (Union Bank) scored a try. INTER-COLLEGE GAME. As a "curtain-raiser" to the Association football match on tho Athletic Park jesterday afternoon an inter-college Kugby game was staged' t(tween teams representing ■ St. Patrick's College, of Wellington, and St. Bede's College, of Christehnrch. The visitors were outclassed by the local boys, who won by 14 points to nil. T lries were obtained by M'Ambridge, James, Fotheringham, and Kennedy, while ignored converted once.
