FAILURE OP REUNION CONFERENCE. ; Cape Town, September 24. The Btecnifontein Reunion Conference dissolved without finding a basis for reunion. Mr. Malan, Minister of Minos, stated that the cause of the failure was that tho Nationalists insisted on. tho recognition of the idea of secession in the constitution of the united party to which the South African Party delegates refused to agree. The latter unanimously adopted the committee's report, regretting that tho efforts towards 1 the reunion of the parties had been unsuccessful—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
