The Canadian Prospector arrived at 2 ■ a.m. yesterday from Vancouver, via Sydney and Melbourne. The yesael left Vancouver on June 35. and arrived at Sydney on July 31. At Sydney she discharged 2i million feet of timber, and a further million at Melbourne. When alio entered .Svdrfey she hod the largest deck cargo of timber aboard that any vecscl had entered the port with. It amounted to 900,000 feet, which if practically the largest deck cargo to have left British Columbia. She left Melbourne for Wellington at 1 o'clock on September 14. and encountered strong head winds, which fresh-ened-to a gale. It was also raining. She Im 60(1 tone of ! V';er and W0 ton? of general cargo for discharge here. She will load here and at Auckland for Vancouver, railing for the northern port about Monday.' Captain P. fi.
