Mr. T. Bußh (president), in reppondinE. referred to tho new democratic spirit of the council, and trusted that Hit innovations it was makintr would be for the benefit of bowling generally. Mr. J. .T. Eobertß proposed "The Visitors, and Messrs W. Nicholson and A. J.Mercer (Dunndin). M. F. Barnett (Chnstchnrch). and A. K. Smart (Now Plymouth) responded in the happiest vein. "The Wellington Centre" was proposed- by Mr. J. J. -Marlow, of Dunedin. and was responded to by Mr. Meadowcroft. "The Wellington Club's Directors" woro toasted. Mr, M_ Oarr 'president) responding. .
