OJd. Imported meat, no change in price; demand is moderate. Butter—English, average price is .£22; small 6upplv of Irish; demand is limited owiug to advance in price. Present quotations are .£22 os. to <£22 15s. It is understood that Pood Minister has arranged for a renewal of Danish contract at £15 per cwt., quotation c.i.f. Purchase made with the co-operation of Belgian aq<l German Governments in order to
keep prices to consumer as low as possible. Cheese—Trade very quiet. English moving at .£8 IGs. to i' 9 65.; Canadian, demand is moderate; \sitc,■'£& to i! 8 25.; coloured, .118 2s. to 65.; spot, quotation, c.i.f., irregular, 3s. to JBB 4s. llemp.-—Manila market quiet and steady, price firm.
