KARORI RIFLE CLUB

Thore was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of tho Karori Defence Rillo Olub on Monday night.

To encourage rifle shooting amongst young men, the club is to offer 20 senior cadets free membership, whom members will coach and train at a minimum expense to the cadet. . Prizes are also to be provide'd for these young members.

The season is to be opened on the first Saturday in October with a Parliamentary match, North v. Bouth.

Preston, and Forbes Smith; delegates to Rifle Ciubß' Union, president, deputy-president, and secretary. • The club expressed its appreciation of the services of Mr. E. Daniel, who retires from the secretaryship after holding the position 'for tho past six years.
