I° 3 - £13, to £16. Tho Wairarapa Farmers' Co-op. Association, Ltd., Pahiatua, report having held a- very Buccesßful clearing sale of dairy Stock, ctc., on account of Mr. H. A. Peterß, wcodvillo, on September 16, aa follows:— There was a, pood attendance of the public, and the demand for cowa was particularly keen. Competition was spirited ri?ht throughout the Bale, and the herd, which were a very fine lot, avcra?e<l the very satisfactory nrice of £27. The cows comprised chiefly Jersey and Jersey-cross, and it was very evident that there is still a big demand for pood cows. Best prices received for the cowi« in milk were:—£39, £35, £32, £31 10s., £30, £29, £28, £27. £26. £25 10s., the lowest price paid being £17 15s. for a heifer in milk. Pedicreo Jersey bull, 35<?nE.' two yearling heifers, £10 k; 8 calves, £2 10$.; 1 horse, £30; spjeiner-cart, £20; rubber-iyred gig. £20; sot harness, £10; piirs sold well.
