Tho game was one of the best seen in Auckland this sear 6on, and was witnessed by. about 1500 sjtecscored first, and a hot attack bv Auckland subsequently evened t.-o score. The first spell ended ono goal each. 80011 after resuming, Auckland scored again, and then Hood scored lor Wellington. Two more goals were registered uj Auckland before time was called.
