CHRISTISON WINS BRISBANE HANDICAP. (Rec. September 19, 5.5 p.m.) v Brisbane, September 19.. The sculling carnival was continued in fine weather. The Brisbane Handicap rc-suneh-Ohristiseii, 40sec., 1: Felton, scr 2; Ripley. 3sec„ 3. With three-quarters of n, mile to go, Felton, who was just in front of Ripley, was steadily overtaking Christisen. When Felton was within two lengths of tho leader, Ripley spurted but died away. Felton's last effort almost landed him the winner, and Christisen nassed the line only three-quarters of a length in the lead. Time, 16rain.- 51 2-ssco. Arnst finished ft bad fifth.—Press A6sn.
