» The Eastbonrno Borough Council met on Friday nislit, "Mr. P. H. Mather {the Mayor) presiding-. Thero were also present Councillors Pilcher, Bennett, Giles, Fisher, and Green. 'Iho Town Olerk reported that the nolieitor had completed the compliment of the new building bv-law», and that the same would bo ready for consideration and confirmation at the next meeting of the council. The forty manager reported that the ordinary time-table had been reverted to, and was beinj maintained. Two cases of bnlldinsrs bcinc erected in contravention of the bulletin? by-Jawß were reported by the By-laws' Committee, imd it was decided that the committee view tho sites and see whether any further action in the matter was warranted. It \yas stated that the council 1 in future should treat these cases as a serious matter, and alTcrd tho borough all tho protection that Mm law itlvcb it. Accounts totalling £3198 Ba. lid. wero passed for payment.
