Tyrrell played really well, and secured a very fine break of 80, which is one of the best amateur breaks made for some years past in any local tournament played under championship conditions. Tyrrell Rot well away, and wa-s over 200 before his opponent reached 100, However, Key, using both head and cue to the fullest advantage, passed his opponent, tho scores standing 281, 282. Harrison failing on a simple shot left an opening to Key with a 20 break reached his points. Tho veteran was awarded an ovation for h<B pluck and his skill. The best breaks woro:-Tyrrell, 80: Key, 31, 20, 43, and 20 unfinished. On Monday night at 7 o'clock Garforth will play Tucker, and at 6 o'olock Harrison will play Sim.
