CRICKET
! The annual mociing of tbo Institute Cricket Club was held last evening, and was largely attended. The report Btated that two teams had been successful in the- ' championship and a third team were runners up. The director, who presided, said that he waß delighted to see the enthusiasm shown by the, boys and it was anticipated ; that twelve teams at least would be ontcrcd for the Cricket Association competitions. The cost of cricket material was oullo ICO per cent, higher than it was last' season, but he folt sure that the Management Committee of the iir.'itutc would sco that tbo boys secured the necessary equipment. Tlio institute hoped to nut in the field a larger number of teams than n.uv other mstimtn or club, and he felt sure that the record of wins this season would be creator than ever. An executive committee was appointed to grade the teurus.
