The tenth episode of the exciting serial, "Mystery of 13." the latest Gazette, and K a comedy complete the programme. EMPRESS THEATRE. Howard Hickman and Rhea Mitchell are the co-stars in "Social Ambition," the Goldwyn film at th» Empress Theatre. The drama opens in fashionable New York and finishes in far-off Alaska. Joseph'J. Dowling is prominent in the castr; There are good supports, including another opiaode of "Liberty" 6erial, also "Wellington from the Ski«s." "OUR REVEILLE." The concluding performance of "Our Reveille" was given in tho Grand Opera House last evening, when the nitdiwico were entertained with a series of new choruses, with special dancrs, and a delightful series of new 'ballets, arranged by Miss Estelle Bcerc. COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' CHOIR. To-night in tte Town Hall a musical feast is promised by the Commercial Travellers' Male Choir. A feature of the programme will be the singing of the competition test selections, at which some hard practice has been put in lately. The soloists are Messrs. I'rank Charles, Sydney Allwright, T. C. Newton, and Leigli Dew, | assisted by tho Melody Four and Miss G. Helen Gard'ner. The choir is under the able leadership of Mr. H. Temple White, and Mr. Harold Whittle will be at the piann In order to avoid disappointing the public, as was the case at the last, concert given in the Concert Chamber the large hall has been engaged, and patrons are advised to' book early at the Bristol. BENEFIT FOR PATRIOTIC BAND. The untiring efforts of the Wellington Patriotio Band (late Jupp's). in assisting the numerous patriotic organisations, Red Cross, Navy League, and Trench Comforts Funds during the war period, are to be recognised in the form of a big iKin&fit entertainment at the Grand Opera House next Saturday evening, in aid of the band's fund for tfiv purchase of new uniforms. Mr. Reginald Hex, who is organiaing the entertainment, lifts arranged an attractive programme, which will' embrace items by Mr. Hamilton Hodges, Masters .Taek and Cecil Waters .(boy sopronoe). Messre. P. L. Brady (winner at the Wellington competitions I, Zante Wood. William Sumner. F. Andrews, W. Beck (lightning sketch artist), Bliglit and Blight (Indian club inampmators), Mr. W. A. Spencer and Miss Isabel Hallifrnn (in a one-act pl°y)» Miss (recitation), Mr. M. Trnoev fl l .M.C.A. pupils (in electric club swinging, horizontal bar and balancing act), Miffi Bawell (in a simultaneous dancing and pianoforte playing novelty act), and Miss Lily O'Leary (Irisn jm). There will be a full orchestra, with Mrs. M. Tracey as pianißt and Mr. W. J. PaTSon as leader. The Patriotic Band will contribute a march, and Mr. Walter Fuller, has promised a vaudeville act from His OS y?, , atre. The- box plan is at the Bristol.
