September 11, 9.30 p.m.) London, September 11. This is the thirty-fifth day of the hunger-strike in Cork Gaol. Friends of Hennessy, a youthful hunger-striker, made a protest iihat he was jruiltless and cfiuld prove an alibi if he chose to answer tho charge. COASTGUARD STATION RAIDED London, September 18. Ffty armed and masked Sinn Feiners rnided the coastguard station at Tovr Head, Antrim. Sinn Feiners in Skibbereen, Cork, cleverly captured mails • delivered by aeroplane from Bnntry. Tliey marked u large lvliilß circle in a field and stood nearby in military uniform. The aerator mistook the circle for a military pi.gn and dropped the mail bags into it. The Sinn .Feiners quickly placed the bags in a motor-ear and disappeared—Aus.-N.Z, Cable'Assn.
