THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT t P.M, YESTERDAY. Present indications are for strong and equally southerly winds, and cold, changeable weather generally, with heavy showers in many parts. Barometer rise everywhere. Atmospheric pressure increased during Monday night, but is ttill below normal, owing to the presence of a southerly "low" off the West Coast of the North Island. Strong southerly winds have prevailed, and the weather haß been cold unsettled,"and squally, with rain generally, and snow on some .of tho high country in tho South Island. B. V. PEMBERTON.
