WELLINGTON'S GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL
Dr. A. K. Newman (Wellington _ East) asked the Minister of Education if tho Government would place a sum of money on the Estimates for the erection of a new Girls' High School in Wellington. The present buildings and wounds, he said, were too small for tlis rapidlygrowing number of pupils. Tho Minister of Education (Mr. Parr) replied yesterday that he was consider-' ins the plans rccontly submitted by tho HHi School Board, and hoped shortly to deal with £bo question of making a CTant towards tlio erection of a now Girls' High School in Wellington.
