BROTHER'S STATEMENT TO THE TRESS. (Rec. September 1!), 7.25 p.m.) Sydney, September 13. Mr. Joseph Partridge, brother of the former nnn. Sister Ligouri, in a statement to Hie Press, declares that after several interviews with his sister at the house of Mr. Barton, Grandmaster of tlio Orange Lodge, where his sister is staying, he had arranged with.her to leave, but when he went to remove her, his demand to allow her to accompany him was refused. Mr. Barton replies that Mi.?s Partridge is ill. as the result of the interviews with her brother, and her doctor has ordered that, no one is to see her. She also desired not to see him, and expressed her determination not to go with him anywhere.—Press Assn.
