At the Theosopliical Hall, . Marion Street, ou Sunday evening, the sixth lecture of the scries was delivered by Mr. IT. Banks, national lecturer for the Theosopliical Society in New Zealand, upon the subject of "Tho Coming of the World Teacher." The lecturer described tlie march of races through the nges, each of which expressed a code of ethics embodied in tho religion presented by its august founder, tho World Tenc'ncr. "He comes when a new race arises to irivo it the spiritual impetus required," said tho lecturer. According to leading ethnologists, a new race was now appearing, whoso ideal was brotherhood. for whose sako, as well as for the world that cried aloud for light _ and leading in tho chaos everywhere manifest.
