PLUNKET MEDAL CONTEST
The annual Plunket Medal contest is to be held in the Tpwn Hall on Friday, at 0 p.m., under the auspices of the Victoria University College Debatini* Society. Ilie contest is an oratorical one for a medal presented by the late Lord Plunket during hif- term as Governor cf Jew iealond. The rules provide that each competitor shall speak for not more than twelve minntcß on Borae man or woman cf rote In history. The fudges for tliiß yiars contest are:—Hon. A. T, Nffata, M.P.: ■Rev. H. W. Bnrridge, M.A., TLB..; and Mr. P- T. Fraser, M.A.. LL.li.. Public Service Commissioner. His Excellency 6k Robert Stout, Actinß-Governor-Oenoral. will preaent the medal to the successful competitor. The list of speakers, with their subjects, will appear in Friday's issue.
