BIG ORDER FOR WOOLLENS
PLACED BY RUMANIA IN CANADA. Washington, September G. The Department of Commerce has announced that negotiations for an order for nine million dollars' worth of woollen textiles have been concluded between Canada and Rumania. Canadian manufacturers will receive cash against the documents at the port of loading, according to arrangements with British financiers. Thirty-seven mill 9 will participate in the order, which involves 1,900,000 yards of cloth, and a.considerable amount of knitted goods.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
