FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications ■ are for moderate to strong south-east -winds northwards of TYestport and Kaikoura, aijd v;.iiablo breezes elsewhere. Cold and changeable weather may be espectud generally, ■with passing showers in the East Ciast district and about Cook Strait. Barometer little movement, but falling shortly in the south. Atmospheric preissuro has continued high over the Dominion, but since Sunday morning the centre has moved into more southern latitudes. South-asterly winds have predominated with increasing forco since yesterday, and cold, showery ccndltons have in the East Coast Sets southwards of East Oape Elsewhere the weather has remained fair though cold. b y PEMBER.TON.
