NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Welling, ton City Council, hold on September 2, 1920, the following resolution was .passed: Tho Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following By-law under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1903, "and its amendments, and in pursuance of all other powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf. The Short Title of this By-law is "Tho Wellington City By-law No. 35, Amendment, 1920." , Tho object and purport of the By-law are:— To amend tho existing By-laws so ae to increase the subscription to Lending Department of tho Public Library from Five Shillings (55.) to Ten Shillings (10s.) per annum. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on THURSDAY. SEPTEMBER 30, 1920. at the Council Chamber, Town HaU, Cuba Street, Wellington, at 7.30 p.m. A full copy of the 6aid By-law is deposited at tho office of the Town Clerk to tho said Council, and may be inspected there by all persons during ordinary office hours.
