In continuation of the series of social evening* organised by n committee <f Hatjiifcii ladies, a well-attended and enjoyable dance was hold at the TtaUiitai School on Saturday evening. The room was tastefully decorated with flags, and the. music was supplied by Mrs. Sciu'lo; extras lreing given by Messrs. Lamberg, Giles, and Miss Hallidny, also a song by Miss Bucktnasler. Prior to tho supper interval, Mr. Hear, on behalf of tho committee, presented Mrs. Searle.with n token of their esteem, niid in recognition of her services as honorary pianist. Supper was su)wrvised bv Mesdamcs Barnctt, Bear, Batt, Cambell,' and Goldie. Messrs. Seailo ;md Harnett officiated as M.C.'s.
