WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB
1 Although the season has not yet been opened officially the Wellington Rowing Club lias called for entries for its first race, the Club Fours, and it is expected | that the crews wall be selected next : Monday. Twelve new members have so far signed on, and it is hoped that at least 20 new members' names will appear in tlie entries for tho Club Fours, together with the names of some of the old monitors who were unable to row *ast season. Tlie following races will l>e roweol this year: Club foul's, junior fours, senior fours, junior pairs, senior pail's, club double sculls, ladder sculls (junior), junior sculls, senior sculls, oamTTcap sculls, novice pairs, and the prec Saturday afternoon races, Wareham "ours, Kompthorne fours, and Pres'deiit fours. Tlie revival of the Wellington Xrinilversary Day regatta- is being very favourably commented upon by club members, and the regatta committoo is assured of wholehearted support.
