THE DEMPSEY-MISKE MATCH. (Rec. September C, 5.5 p.m.) Benton Harbour, September 5. Denipsey and Misko are now resting. The odds are in favour of Dempsey. The town of Benton Harbour is hardly able to accommodate the large numbers of spectators new present. The hotels (ii'B seriously taxed, and many residents arc taking in visitors. The referee is not yet chosen, owing to tho inability of tho managers to select a likely man. It is expected the choice will be made on (Monday. . „ Mi.sko made a statement, as follows:"I never felt better than now. I have fought Dempsey twice before, and know he is a fighter from the ground up. He couldn't knock me. out Wore, and I do not think ho can do it now. 1 also showed upon those occasions ability to hit Dempsey hard. I am not predictingthat I will knock him out, but I am going to give him the greatest nght he over had." The correspondent adds that Misko looks fit and ready for the tight. Dempsey made the following statement: -"Of course, I expect to win decisively, but I have not made (he ■mistake ot thinking I am going to find Misko. «wy. I have trained hard for this contest, and believe I will find in Misko one of my strongest opponents."
