The yacht would be schooner rigged and of the "Fislionnan" type, entirely Canadian in design .and cous-nic-tion, and manned and commanded by Canadian fishermen, and it would bo able to go offshore in any weather. Mr. Ross explained that tho plan to employ Mr. Nicholson (Sir Thomas Lipton's dosigner) had been changed because, be insisted that too much of the work on the challenger should be dene in ling-land.—Aua.-N.Z.
