To' obtain funds with which to stock the various stalls at the Petone Catholic bazaar, which is to be held somewhere about Christmas time, the stall-holders have been organising various remunerative forms of entertainment; On .Friday morning a jumble sale was held in the llanfurly Hall, the result, being a'return of approximately Mi). In the evening a euchre party and dance, organised bv Mrs. Lazarus took place in the Palace Theatre There was a fairly large attendance; and a pleasant evening was spent. Sirs. Craig, of lioro Koro. won th« card competition. . • The following .will .represent No. 29 Company, Senior Cadets, in a Busby match against Y.iI.C.A. next Saturday: -Bunl, 'Hope, Kerr, It.
