PROGRESS OF THE DISPUTES. ' Mr P. Hally (Conciliation Commissioner) and Mr. J. Arbuckle (secretary of tho Miners' Federation) left for the south on Saturday night, nnd w'.ll deal with the disputes at the Goro and Main lira mines thfe week. Tho disputes at the Green Island and Taratu mines nre settled, ami Mr. Hally is hopeful of being able to adjust the small matters in dispute at Gore and Mntaurn. It appears that the settlement of theso disputes may not brins industrial peaco to the' coal mines, since the miners have discovered some new grievances. Tho Huntiy miners, as already announced, are demanding that they have the same ra'3'.vay concessions as were recently given to the men emploved at the' State mine. The Blackball miners are demanding the dismissal of two union members who do not wish to contribute to a fund in aid of tho Broken Hill strikers.
