First of all came the Masseurs Registration Bill and the Minister succeeded in porsttading the House to keep one amendment I made by the Council, which will have some importance in making the Bill effective. One other amendment was disagreed with. The two other Bills, tha ; : Crimes Amendment Bill and the Arms Bill, were accepted with the Council's ' amendments with but-little debate. Last of all came the third reading of the | War Regulations Continuance Bill, and the Labour members, who had /ought the | / Bill in.Committee, opposed it also on the third reading, and protested against ' " tho passage of legislation aimed wholly or in part at "organised Labour."
