An inquest will be held. DEATH OP AN INFANT. Aiii eight-montlis'-old child named Kathleen Margaret Ivy Westeonibe died at a liouso in Molesworth Street on Friday afternoon. The child had been in a home at Petone, and on being taken ill on Friday morning was attended by Dr. Duggle. Later in the day the mother brought tho child into town and Dr. l'attio was summoned, but whon he arrived he found that it was dying. Death took place shortly afterwards. An inquest will be held this aftorncon. MAN DIES SUDDENLY. Informntion was received by Superintendent Norwood last night that a man named William Simpson, G1 years of ««c. an employee at Lagoon Hill Station, about 25 miles from Martinborough, was found dead yesterday morning. Deceased had, returned to work on Thursday after having had his teeth attended to, but during the week-end oomplained of feoling unwell. Yesterday morning ho was found dead in bed. Tho body was taken to Martinborough, where an inquest witi bo held.
