The monthly meeting of the Kolburn Rnltepkiyer.i' Association tooki place on Tuesday evening, Mr. F. Mendowcroft, president, being in the chair. The loan proposals were discussed at considerable length, and altogether did not meet with general approval from the members of the executive. Indignation wa» expressed that -a main arterial road which has been "on the stocks" for tho pniit ten yearn had found no placo in the schedule, special mention being made of the number of hurried aurvoya.. which had been undertaken, and out of which, up to the pr(«iont time, tho Kclburn residents had derived no satisfaction. It was decided to call a meeting of the householders of the district next Tuesday night, and invito city councillors to nddreas the meeting on the loan proposal.
