' The subcommittee appointed by th», Medical Cougress to investigate the white occupation of trojrical Australia, reports that it vrpa unable to .find : nnythintj pointing'to the existence of inherent, insuperable obstacles in the way of -permanent occupation of tropical Australia by a healthy, indigenous white nice. Constructive suggestions offered are summed up as: (1) The regulation cf prohibition of .the sale of alcohol; (2) bettor housing and clothing conditions; (3) education of the people in hygienic mutters—Press Assn.
