Cook.had the adj. vantage of. Mb. n weight, but lacked the condition of his opponent. It «as n contest of youthful virility and strength against ringcraft, science, and boxing bWU, and the .'latter won. Clabby was too superior throughout, and won on points, tho victory being a popular one. A. number of preliminary bouts wa held, and the tournament was a great success.
