It was decided, in view of the failure to move in the direction indicated, that on Monday at 10 a.m. a stepwork mooting of the union be held to discuss what action should be taken. It is understood that all tho othsr coal miners' unions in the Dominion will do likewise, and that the meetings may have a far-reaching effect. REDUCED OUTPUT AT TAUPIRI. The output of coal at tho Taupiri mines on Wednesday was the same ns that on Tuesday, which showed a fallingoff for the day of 100 tons, as compared with the normal output.
