The Minister did not say that the scheme had been accepted, or that.it was going to 'be accepted by tha Government, Nor did ho say it would bo rejected. All that ■'-" he made clear was that it was not yet accepted. Another report from a. select committee dealt -vith ths now-famcas Te Aroha leases. This morion was talked , out at the dinner adjournment. In tho evening tho second reading debate on the War Regulations Kill was concluded, and tho Bill went into committee at once. The opposition of the labour members wag cntinucd, and progress was slow.
