At 11.43 a.m. yesterday a call was received by the Fire Brigade, to 81 Hftwkestone Street, where there was a slight outbreak in one of the bedrooms. A blanket and the-mattress were slightly damaged and the wulluaper scorched. The house is owned by Miss Abbot, Oriental Bay, and occupied by Sir. Jatucw Hall, who has no insurance on the contents. Be Prepared. Insure with The Insurance Officfc of Australia (The "1.0.A."). All claims settled without vexatious delay. Wellington Office, 33 Johnston Street—Advt.
