The annual inter-collegiato football tournament commenced this afternoon, on tho Christ's' College ground, when Wellington College defeated Christ's Collego by 19 points to 11. Tho back play of the tho Wellington lads was riot impressive, but they possess a fine set of forwards, to whom their win was really due. Bedell (three). Johnson aud Miller scored tries for Wellington, two being converted. Richmond and Gibson scored tries for Christ's College, one boing converted, and Talbot kicked a penalty goal.
