The Warsaw correspondent of "The Times" says that Warsaw may now be regarded as perfectly safe, and there is a possibility that the Reds attempting to cross the Vistula may be cut off, as no Red reserves are within reach to assist them. The successes so far won are attributed to the skill and excellent work of General Weygand and his French staff. Under their eapablo leadership the Poles reasserted,, their ascendancy. Enthusiasm is running high, and the Poles are determined to drive out the Reds' invasion. _ The change has had a wholesome effect in curing many incipient Bolsheviks, who saw in, the Reds onlv pillagers and murderers.—"The Times?' Their communications have been cut on all sides. Band believes that the Polish successes have upset the German plan to purchase 1 the supportof the Soviet with a view to attempting to destroy the Treaty of Versailles. The scheme actually included a desperate jdea of throwing Bed armies across the Rhino. The Polish resistance has depressed the French Bolsheviks, liiough some anti-war clamour continues it is doubtful whether a. strong Adblo!
