THIEVES SENTENCED

Auckland, August 14., At the Supreme Court to-day, Uuis von Eimen confessed to a series of extensive thefts from shopkeepers, and was sentenced to seven years reformative treatment. i Alfred George Clegg, convicted of breaking, entering, and theft, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
